The 'Little Things' singers have previously had number one album in the Uk and the US, their debut album 'Up All Night' was actually more succesful in the US where it reached the top of the album cheart whereas it only made it to the number two spot in the UK.

In a blog on the boys website they open up about the album: 

"We've put a lot of love into this album and we're really proud of our new music - we hope you'll love the tracks as much as we do. We had amazing time writing and recording on the road!!"

Harry,Zayn,Liam,Louis and Niall are particularly keen to show their fans their appreciation: 

"Thank so much to each and every one of you who has supported us over the past three years. We can't believe everything we've achieved and we owe it all to you."

Earlier today Miley Cyrus broke the boys bands record for most viewed video in under 24 hours. One Direction previously held the record with their video for 'Best Song Ever' which received 10.7 million views on first day. Miley's  "Wrecking Ball"  has now smashed the boys record by receiving more than 17 million views sience it's realese.

'Midhnight Memories' is set dor realease on November 25, the five piecewill be touring the UK in May and June next year in support of the album.
